Last night, out of a whim I decided to Rain-X my windshield. This morning I woke up to everything covered in a solid sheet of ice. I have used Rain-X before in the summer, and I loved it for rain, but I didn't realize it would help this much with ice.
P.S. - heated seats, steering wheels, and mirrors are lifesavers.

Years ago a new car I bought had been done by the dealer, I couldn't believe how well it worked, and held up a long time. As you've found out, would work well on side windows and mirrors also :P

I don't like how rain-x usually make my wipers chatter. Thats why I stopped using it.

They also make an anti-fog treatment that works wonders on the inside.
